Guitar Lessons Soon?

If my kids would agree with me, I want them to learn how to play the guitar. So if they do, I would prefer to use or buy them a durable, nice-sounding, top of the line guitar. Based on what I have heard and seen in concerts or shows, Gibson guitars are one of the best guitars there is.
At musicians friend musicians friend gibson les paul studio electric guitars are available and they do look pretty cool.
But of course, my kids would have to learn with the basics first, if they choose to play the electric guitar, it is to their discretion. So if ever they agree with my plan, I would also be joining them in their lessons, that would really be fun.
