If my kids would agree with me, I want them to learn how to play the guitar. So if they do, I would prefer to use or buy them a durable, nice-sounding, top of the line guitar. Based on what I have heard and seen in concerts or shows, Gibson guitars are one of the best guitars there is.

I am teaching high schoolers using home school system. There’s this one particular students who is needing a lot of help when it comes to Mathematics problem. She is now doing Probability and Statistics.

I remember I used to like this subject so much when I was still studying.

So now, it’s kind of easy to teach.

One day, she came with a problem like this:

I read the problem to her and she started giggling.

Then I re-read the problem and realized why she was laughing.

Sigh.. teens nowadays.

Thinking of Christmas

Can you believe it? Christmas is just five months away. Where has time gone? It’s not so long ago that we heard Christmas carols being played in malls and shops, attended those Christmas parties and sent/received Christmas presents and cards.

I believe that for those who are selling Christmas products in a Christmas Store, they are already busy making some crafts and gifts for sale as early as now. Regardless of culture and religion, Christmas is celebrated around the world, and is in fact one of the most loved celebrations. People are just in the mood for shopping and giving presents so it’s definitely a “peak” season for business people.

Speaking of presents, what should I give my family this Christmas? I guess I have enough time to think, so it’s not really something to be worried about for now.

Samantha just took her first ever LIFEPAC Test from Alpha and Omega Publications curriculum and she got 100% as her score.

I am so proud of her.

I have always been a reluctant homeschooler.

But I think God is leading me to this direction.

The fun thing is, I am actually enjoying it.

Movies and DVDs are Equals to Great Family Bonding

Watching movies and buying DVDs are one of my family’s favorite past times. Over the years, our dvd rack has already been stocked with a collection of various DVDs and movies. Our all time favorites, my kid’s favorite cartoons, educational DVDs, and others, all these pile up our dvd racks. Sometimes when we are all free, we all cuddle up, turn on the TV and watch our favorites.

It is somehow a good way to spend time and bond with my family, and mind you, at a lower cost. Not paying expensive movie theaters, we just pop some corns in the microwave, turn off the lights and viola, instant movie dates with the whole family.
